• A traditional and very popular drink in Frankfurt am Mein
• It is a very bitter drink by itself so it can be mixed with part lemonade part sparkling water
• It normally gets served in a Bembel jug – very similar to a beer pitcher
• In winter it can be served hot with a cinnamon stick, some cloves and a slice of lemon to warm you up, similar to mulled wine
• I personally enjoyed this one very much and would definitely look out for it again in Germany!
