Hello Berry Smoothie Recipe

When you’ve been so diligent with your New Years Resolutions you deserve a nice treat. What? You aren’t doing New Year’s Resolutions? You’ve already fallen off the wagon? Oh well, this is a great tasting smoothie packed with fruits and good stuff.

I’m using almond milk which is low in calories & carbs, berries which are high in anti-oxidants & Vitamin C and banana which has some good fibre, potassium and a range of Vitamins. Oh and I did throw in a scoop of plain vanilla ice-cream for the treat factor!

Ingredients:

  • 1 Banana
  • A handful of mixed berries
    • Blackberries
    • Raspberries
    • Blackcurrants
    • Redcurrants
  • 1 Scoop plain vanilla ice-cream
  • 2 Cups almond milk (approx.)

 

Method:

  • Add the ingredients into a beaker and blitz with a hand blender (or whatever else you have to do the job)
  • Pour

Perfect! Works as a dessert or just a snack.
