When I bought tickets to Universal Studios, I didn’t do any research or watch any videos about the park before the time and left it completely as a surprise for when I got there. Most of the rides involved being given 3D glasses and going on motion simulated, 3-D/4-D rides. It was pretty much like going to a movie but instead of just watching it, it felt like being in the movie where everything came to life.
Harry potter fans: Explore diagon alley
My most memorable experience at Universal Studios was the Harry Potter world in Diagon Alley that was created. Having lived through the Harry Potter hype when I was a teenager when each new book or movie being released was an eagerly anticipated event, experiencing how Universal Studios made the Harry Potter world came to life was the best part for me. Seeing the Knight Bus, Grimmauld Place building and walking through Diagon Alley where you can visit Weasleys Wizarding Wheezes, go to the Leaky Cauldron to pick up a meal and try butterbeer, see the books in Flourish and Blotts and see how the wand chooses the wizard at Olivanders.
At Gringotts Bank there is a trill ride/ hybrid rollercoaster with 4D where you can save a dragon and escape from Bellatrix and Voldemort. In my opinion, this was one of the best rides of the park.
You can take a walk through Knockturn Alley to take a look at the stores full of Dark Art objects, and go to Kings Cross where you can board the Hogwarts Express and travel to Hogsmeade in Universal Islands of Adventure if you have a Park-to-Park ticket.

Universal Studios has some great motion simulated rides like Despicable Me Minion Mayhem where you’ll be bumped around in a cart racing along with other minions, racing in the Fast and Furious, going on an adventure on the Simpsons ride, fighting Transformer, defeating aliens in Men in Black and racing through the streets of New York with Jimmy Fallon.
On the thrill ride Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit, you get to choose your own song that will play on the rollercoaster for you while you fly through the air up to 65 mph and climb up a 90 degree angle and drop. The choose your own song made the ride memorable!
I missed out on the Revenge of the Mummy due to the line that too insanely long, but on this thrill ride you can expect to explore a tomb in high speeds while trying to escape an evil mummy.
On participating rides and shows you can get the Universal Express Pass to skip the queues.
